In Parshat Miketz, Pharoah dreams of seven fat cows eating seven skinny cows. Ask your kids to tell you one of their weird dreams and ask them what they think it might mean. Then, go on to tell them Pharoah’s dream and Yosef’s interpretation. Kids will learn about shapes and tracing doing this project.

Materials:
Cardboard (old cereal box is perfect)
White paint
Black pipe cleaner
Googly eyes
Black, pink, white construction paper
Black marker
Four wooden clothespins

Instructions:
1) For the fat cow, trace a large plate onto the cardboard and cut out the circle.
2) For the skinny cow, trace a ruler and cut out the rectangle.
3) Paint the rectangle and the circle with white paint. Paint the clothespin white.
4) When the paint is dry, glue on black spots cut from construction paper. Draw spots with marker on clothespin.
5) Glue on ears, eyes, horns, and udders cut out from construction paper.
6) Curl the pipe cleaner and tape it onto the back of the cow as the tail.
