Lesson Summary:

From our friends at JTeach.org:

Study the song that encapsulates the entirety of the Passover narrative in 15 short stanzas.
Identify the biblical sources of Dayenu and integrate ideas from it into Seders.

Using the actual text of the Haggadah and the Bible, engage students in an exploration of Dayenu and the Passover narrative. Students will use art, music, and their detective skills to deepen their connection to the Haggadah and to enhance their Seders. This lesson can be done in English or as Hebrew reading practice.

Be Inspired:The ideas included are offered as starting points as you and your students explore, discover and live the lessons. Be sure to elicit and encourage student and parent participation, consistently reinforcing the value being addressed. Allow lessons to authentically develop and change based on engagement and interests.
