Jewish Thinkers

HISTORY

Beginning in the Middle Ages, various individuals began to contribute to Judaism by offering commentary on the Hebrew Bible, Jewish law, and the relationship with God. These Jewish thinkers, ranging from medieval commentators, such as Maimonides, to contemporary thinkers such as Rabbi David Hartman, offer their own understandings of Judaism and provide a context for us to explore our relationship with Judaism today.
